A 21-year-old has been killed after being hit by a car on the Gold Coast – the second road fatality in the city in just over 24 hours.
The man was hit by the car – a Hyundai Veloster which was travelling westbound – near the junction with Village Blvd at around 11.10pm on Friday.
It is understood the man, a Southport local, was crossing the road at the time. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
