$300k car destroyed in second firebomb

A suburban house has been targeted with a firebomb for the second time in a matter of days, ruining a $300,000 luxury car.

Emergency services were called to the Barnards Ave house at Hurstville in Sydney’s south in the early hours of Tuesday morning following reports of a car fire.

Police found a white Mercedes convertible ablaze upon arrival, with six NSW Fire and Rescue crews called in to attend the fire.

The blaze took the crews 20 minutes to extinguish.
