A little boy has been seriously injured when he was struck by a car on the Gold Coast.
A Queensland ambulance spokesperson said they were called to reports a vehicle had hit a child on Cottesloe Dr and Kirup St in Mermaid Waters about 9.20am on Monday.
Paramedics assessed the boy at the scene before he was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
The boy’s exact age and the extent of his injuries are unknown.
