CCTV has captured the moment a man in his undies chased away alleged would-be thieves on the Gold Coast.
The vision shows the man in a bizarre and frightening confrontation with a group of young men.
9News Gold Coast reporter Yasmin Bonnell said the man, Steve, was woken up to hear people rummaging through his cars.
“So he ran out, grabbed some undies, chucked them on, and chased them down the road.”
