Early regulatory filings in California indicated that the Tesla Cybertruck would come in at a curb weight of around 8,500 to 10,000 lbs (3,855 – 4,536 kg). The stainless steel skin, quad-motor drivetrain, and substantial battery pack seem to support this weight hypothesis, although Sandy Munro and Cory Steuben, who have done their fair share of Tesla teardowns, seem to think it will be lighter than that.
