An affordable city EV; $1m Rolls-Royce and Melbourne made

Enter the Rolls-Royce Spectre, complete with long bonnet and grille – though neither are required in an EV. 

It’s the groundbreaking price. With a real-world range of 300km, this car’s the ideal city runabout for under $40,000 – if you can take its boxy looks, that is.

Its exterior might not win hearts and minds, but the price is right. 

There is a cheaper GT version, but why settle for that when you can have a supercar engine plus superb technology in the (much) dearer…
