A businessman is facing new fraud-related charges for allegedly failing to hand over millions of dollars to persons whose motor vehicles he sold.
Akeem Adamson remains in police custody after he was charged by detectives in St Ann with five counts of fraudulent conversion, representing five complainants, law enforcement sources disclosed.
He is scheduled to appear in court next week.
