A new study has revealed that more cars have been stolen in Queensland than anywhere else in the country in the past year.
A comparison of police figures from across the country shows that between July 2021 and June 2022, 17,221 cars were recorded stolen in Queensland.
Around 2,500 of those were on the Gold Coast alone, accounting for 15 per cent of all stolen cars in Queensland.
