Fire fighting trucks stolen in brazen depot hit

Four vehicles, all vital to fighting fires on the NSW north coast, were stolen after thieves broke into a National Parks and Wildlife Service depot. What we know.

The break in happened overnight on Monday with police alerted about 7.30am on Tuesday.

Four vehicles were stolen from the depot at Blackbutt Drive.

Three of the vehicles are specifically for fire fighting and the fourth is used as a command vehicle, severely impacting the fire fighting capabilities of the service.
