Motorists are being warned to avoid the M1 on the Gold Coast as lanes remain closed after a crash.
Gold Coast police were called to a car crash on the M1 northbound near Pimpama at about 5.30am.
A police spokesperson said they had multiple crews on scene.
They said they had closed lanes on the M1 while they were working on moving the cars to the nearest shoulder.
The spokesperson said no one was injured in the crash.
