A Queensland police highway patrol car has been involved in a dramatic collision on the Pacific Motorway on the Gold Coast after a cross-border chase from NSW.
It is understood Tweed-Byron police were pursuing a Land Rover Defender north on the highway when the incident happened late on Sunday afternoon.
A Queensland police vehicle appeared to have crashed into the back of the Land Rover on the off-ramp to Stewart Rd at Currumbin just north of the border.
