Mazda refuses to be a leader in electric vehicles – report

While many car companies are going all-in on electric vehicles, Mazda says being slow to switch is all part of its strategy.


Mazda’s slow roll-out of electric cars is all part of its strategy – and it plans to slow the pace even more.

In an interview with US website Automotive News, global CEO Masahiro Moro said Mazda is an “intentional follower on [electric vehicles],” with the company instead focusing on hybrid models for the time being.
