Motorists are being warned of lengthy delays on the M1 after a multi-vehicle pile-up in Coomera.
Four cars collided in the southbound lanes of the motorway near exit 54 at around 8am on Tuesday.
Police, paramedics and fire crews are all on scene.
Seven people are currently being checked over by paramedics but all are said to be in a stable condition.
Delays as at 8.30am were back to Pimpama.
