Road worker hit by car at Main Beach
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said a parked roadwork vehicle was hit by a passing car on the Gold Coast Highway in Main Beach at about 6.30am on Thursday.
A worker was standing close to the parked car at the time and was knocked over.
Three people were assessed by paramedics at the scene.
