Tesla could sue Cybertruck ‘scalpers’ for $US50,000, documents show

Tesla Cybertruck owners who try to sell the electric pick-up for a quick profit could be made to pay the electric-car giant $US50,000 ($AU78,400) for breaking a contractual agreement.


The Tesla Cybertruck’s prolonged roll-out has led to the electric-car giant implementing a new way to stop ‘scalpers’ from selling the highly-anticipated pick-up – by suing owners who ‘flip’ the vehicle within 12 months of delivery.
