Town of Victoria Park has made the switch to electric vehicles

The Town of Victoria Park has made the switch to using fully electric vehicles in an effort to reduce carbon emissions.

Two new MG ZS Excite vehicles were bought with the help of the WA Government Zero Emission Vehicle Rebate Scheme and will be used as staff pool cars, with a third electric vehicle to join the fleet soon.

Mayor Karen Vernon said the introduction of the new fleet cars was a proactive move for the town in creating a cleaner and greener Victoria Park.
