People have exited their cars and are standing on the road after traffic on the M1 came to a total standstill.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a two vehicle traffic crash on the M1 southbound at Burleigh Heads around 12:45pm Monday.
While no one was injured, video footage shows traffic stopped on the motorway.
