Thousands of car owners are being left vulnerable with thefts against a popular car-share service increasing across Australia.
Uber Carshare – previously known as Car Next Door – offers convenient access for borrowers to rent out a car, by the hour or day, while generating revenue for car owners.
Drivers can rent a car using the Uber Carshare app, which then directs the customer to a street or dedicated space where the owner has left the vehicle.
