An investigation is underway after a woman was hit by a police car, leaving her in a serious condition with suspected spinal injuries in hospital.
Shortly before 2.20am on Friday morning, the woman was hit by a NSW police car that was responding to a call for assistance.
The pedestrian, who was struck on Middleton street in South Kempsey, was taken to Kempsey Hospital by police.
