Woman, 86, fatally struck by car while crossing Paradise Point road on Gold Coast

An elderly woman has died after she was struck by a car while walking across a Gold Coast road.

The 86-year-old woman was critically injured when she was hit on Grice Ave at Paradise Point about 4pm on Wednesday.

She was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital but died there hours later.
