A woman has been taken to hospital in a stable condition following a six-car pileup on the Pacific Motorway that initially closed several southbound lanes.
Police, paramedics and fire crews rushed to the scene at Eagleby about 6.30pm, where six vehicles, including an Audi, have collided.
Emergency services are attending to multiple patients and have been forced to shut all southbound lanes of the busy highway.
