Woman trapped in vehicle after smashing into parked cars on southern Gold Coast

A woman has had to be freed by firefighters following a nasty crash into several parked cars in Tugun.

It happened along the Gold Coast Highway just after 3am this morning.

The impact of the collisions left her trapped in her car with firey’s having to cut her free.

She was assessed at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
